NCRWA Conference Awards
Every year we recognize those individuals who have gone above and beyond the call of duty to improve their system and the industry as a whole, setting an example for others to follow.
The deadline for the 2023 NCRWA Conference Award nomination is: March 31, 2023.
Awards will be presented at our 2023 Annual Conference & Exhibition Awards Banquet in Winston-Salem, NC on Wednesday night, May 17, 2023.
Award Categories:
J.A. YOUNTS AWARD FOR EXCELLENCE IN WATER – This award recognizes a person who shows dedication to their job, to their water system and to rural water. The nomination can include system personnel as well as elected officials.
AL DERATT AWARD FOR EXCELLENCE IN WASTEWATER – This award recognizes a person who shows dedication to their job, to their wastewater system and to rural water. This nomination can include system personnel as well as elected officials.
AWARD FOR ADMINISTRATIVE EXCELLENCE – This award recognizes a person that has enhanced the performance of the operation of their water or wastewater system through innovative work practices, administrative leadership, and support for system operations.
BUD PATE SERVICE AWARD – This award recognizes a person who has demonstrated an outstanding concern for their community through their actions to serve others in their community or the water/wastewater industry.
Anyone can nominate any person associated, in any way, with their system or with any system in North Carolina.
